Welcome to Deb Baker Art, Colour Obsessed Ballarat Abstract Artist.
The way art brings joy to my, buyers, family and friends lights me up. That spark lead me to complete my Bachelor of Visual Arts at Ballarat University, where I majored in Ceramics and explored the tactile beauty of working with my hands.
Life took me on an incredible journey- into motherhood, a career in healthcare, and back to art. In early 2022, I decided to follow my heart and become a full-time artist with the support of my amazing husband and adult daughters.
Today, my mission is clear: to bring joy, colour, and happiness into your life through art. Whether it’s a vibrant painting for your walls, or art infused products, I aim to inspire you to see the beauty in the world around us. Surrounded by nature, with local flora and fauna sparking endless creativity, I draw from life’s simplest pleasures to craft pieces that brighten spaces and lift spirits.
